Adhesive for joining conveyor belts
For joining rubber conveyor belts using the cold vulcanization process, we recommend two-component adhesives SC 4000 with UT-R20 hardener.
They are used for bonding rubber-rubber, rubber-steel, and rubber-metal surfaces. Due to their non-toxicity, they can be used in closed spaces and mines. They are characterized by high bonding capacity (covering a surface of around 0.50 kg/m²) and excellent adhesion.
They are supplied in 0.7 L packages.
Metal clips (connectors)
Metal clips (connectors) are used for fast mechanical joining of the belt as well as for repairing transverse or longitudinal damage. Upon request, we can also supply the appropriate tool for mounting the connectors.
Depending on the thickness of the belts, drum diameter, and the desired tensile strength, the following connectors are offered:
Flexco bolt solid plate Type 140 E; Type 190 E; 1-1/2E; 2E – a system of metal clips for joining rubber conveyor belts with a thickness of 5 to 26 mm
Flexco rivet hinged belt (R2-48/1200 and R5-48/1200) – clips for rubber conveyor belts with a thickness of 6 to 16 mm. Note: Special tools are required for applying this type of connector.
Adler connectors K-19 – a system of wire steel connectors for fast joining of rubber belts up to 30 mm thickness. Note: Special tools are required for applying this type of connector.
Rubber for lining conveyor drums:
Patterned (diamond) rubber:
Used for lining drums on conveyors. The upper surface is profiled in the shape of a diamond. It is supplied in thicknesses of 8 mm, 10 mm, and 12 mm.
Smooth rubber:
Used for lining drums on less demanding conveyors, and for making vibrating hoppers.
Conveyor belt scrapers:
The buildup of material on conveyor belts can often cause breakdowns on conveyors. The accumulated materials further burden the belt, reduce the capacity of the conveyor, negatively affect durability and even operation, and can lead to cutting or scoring the belt surface.
This problem can be solved with properly selected and properly positioned scrapers that remove the accumulated deposits from the belt, increasing transport efficiency.
The following are available:
NORMALPUL – black rubber, hardness 70+/-5 ShA, density 1.30 kg/dm³
SPECIALPUL – black rubber, hardness 65+/-5 ShA, density 1.20 g/cm³
TRIS – “sandwich rubber,” black-green-black, hardness 70/45/70 ShA, density 1.25 g/cm³.
VULKOLAN – supplied in yellow or white, hardness 80 ShA, density 1.20 g/cm³
NOTE: In addition to the types listed, other complex types of belt scrapers can be supplied upon request.
