Conveyor rollers are used in belt conveyors, heavy-duty rollers, and other transport and guidance systems. They are characterized by safe operation, low resistance, and long service life. These features are ensured by the installation of double-sealed deep groove ball bearings with 2RS seals.
The bearing housing is formed by deep-drawing technology from cold-rolled steel sheets. The housings are closed on the roller shell and centered on the axis. The roller shaft is made of bright-drawn steel and processed in a standard execution grip (P1-P9).
For better bearing protection, the company Tehnoguma offers an improved roller sealing system with double sealing. The housing is fitted with elements that ensure longer roller service life. The most important components of the sealing system are a labyrinth seal filled with lithium grease and metal and polymer brushes. The primary function of the brushes is to prevent coarse contaminants from mechanically damaging the labyrinth seal.
