Teflon sheets | Teflon tubes | Teflon rods
Polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE, also known as Teflon by the manufacturer DuPont, is a high-quality synthetic material widely used in all branches of industry that is completely resistant to chemicals and can only be damaged by extreme conditions, such as coming into contact with alkali metals or radioactive radiation.
Teflon is used in situations where low friction, aggressive and toxic fluids, and high temperatures are required in the chemical, petrochemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in water treatment plants, and more. It is used to make valves, filters, pipelines, and sealing elements.
PTFE elements are supplied in 3 forms:
Teflon sheets:
Dimensions: 1000 x 1000 mm, 1200 x 1200 mm
Thicknesses: 0.5 – 60 mm
Teflon rods:
Length: 1000 mm
Diameter: 5 – 400 mm
Teflon tubes: Dimensions made to order
The main characteristics of PTFE are:
Chemical resistance
Waterproof and UV stability
Low coefficient of friction
Excellent electrical insulation properties
Resistance to aging
Low thermal conductivity
Temperature range of use from -200 to +260 °C
Suitability for the food industry and similar industries.
