Due to its durability, elasticity, and flexibility, cork is an excellent sealing material.
Rubberized cork is produced from cork granules and binders based on various types of synthetic rubber such as NBR, SBR, EPDM or CR rubber.
Most types of cork insulation have good resistance to contact with liquid fuels, oils, gas, fats, water, numerous chemicals, and the like.
