Fireproof boards for high temperatures

Fireproof boards (BA boards) are a replacement for asbestos boards according to DIN 8752. They are made from special aluminum fibers, calcium silicate, and a negligible percentage of organic materials. They are completely safe for human health, and in case of fire, they do not burn or emit toxic gases. Insulating fireproof boards are a temperature-stable material with very low thermal conductivity. Depending on the composition, they can cover temperatures from 850-1100 °C, and ceramic fiber-based boards can even withstand temperatures up to 1500 °C.
