Technical Smooth Rubber
Technical rubber is a highly adaptable and versatile industrial material that can be easily cut, bent, and shaped, enabling various applications in industrial and commercial sectors. Depending on its composition, technical rubber offers excellent resistance to water, weather conditions, temperature, ozone, and is also resistant to weak acids, alkalis, solvents, mineral oils, and even petroleum and its derivatives.
Our selection includes technical rubber in rolls and sheets, tailored to different thicknesses, hardness levels, and specific industrial application requirements.

Types of Technical Rubber Available
The choice of rubber type depends on specific application conditions, including usage location, media exposure, temperature range, purpose, and expected service life.
IIR (Butyl) Rubber
Butyl rubber (isobutylene-isoprene) offers exceptional resistance to oxidation, ozone, and weather conditions. It provides stability at high temperatures and shows good resistance to diluted acids and alkalis. Ideal for applications requiring gas impermeability and water barriers, making it perfect for inner layers of hoses.
SBR (Styrene-Butadiene) Rubber
SBR rubber is a synthetic material resistant to aqueous solutions, salts, weak acids, and abrasion. Due to its higher styrene-butadiene content, SBR rubber is harder and less elastic but highly suitable for abrasion-resistant applications. It has lower resistance to weather conditions, oil, and fuels.
NR (Natural Rubber)
Natural rubber (polyisoprene) is distinguished by its above-average tensile strength and elasticity (up to 500%). This material is extremely resistant to abrasion, water, ammonia, ethylene glycol, and diluted acids and alkalis. However, it is not resistant to petroleum and organic oils. It has limited resistance to high temperatures and ozone.
NBR (Nitrile Butadiene) Rubber
Nitrile rubber is known for its resistance to mineral oils, fats, liquid fuels, and aromatic solvents. It is also resistant to vegetable oils and diluted acids and alkalis, making it an ideal choice for applications in oil and chemical processing industries.
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) Rubber
EPDM rubber is highly resistant to ozone, aging, chemical solutions, acids, alkalis, and steam. It also withstands UV radiation and can endure extreme temperatures up to 130°C. It is ideal for use in the energy and chemical industries.
CR (Neoprene) Rubber
Neoprene rubber (polychloroprene) offers good mechanical strength and resistance to water and aging. Its high resistance to ozone and weather conditions makes it suitable for outdoor use, while moderate oil and fuel resistance broadens its industrial application.
VMQ (Silicone) Rubber
Silicone rubber (vinyl methyl silicone) provides exceptional resistance to chemical exposure, aging, and extreme temperatures. It is most commonly used in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries, where solutions must withstand high temperatures and aggressive chemicals.
