Evacell – Foam in sheets and blocks
EVA foam in sheets and blocks
The material EVA foam (ethylene vinyl acetate) is also often referred to as EVA sponge or EVA rubber. It is a foamed material that is supplied in sheets and blocks.
Material structure
Polyethylene foam with the addition of EVA with thin closed cells in bright colors. It is characterized by optimal flexibility, elasticity, mechanical and thermal resistance, and resistance to UV radiation. Since EVA sponge does not conduct electricity, it can replace rubber and numerous polymers as an electrical insulating material.
Technical characteristics
Color: EVA material comes in a wide range of colors
Density: 30-200 kg/m3
Dimensions
Sheets: 1000 x 2000 mm or 1000 x 1900 mm
Thicknesses: 2 to 87 mm
Processing: cut with a water jet
Application
Nautical, sport, orthopedics, promotional gifts and accessories, automotive and motorcycle industry, industrial packaging, sports footwear, equipment for sports halls and activities.
EVA material is also used in fishing as a floating foam for stationary nets and trawls. In the construction industry, it is used as sound and thermal insulation and as an excellent substitute for cork. Due to its shock-absorbing properties, it is often used in sports halls. EVA rubber is used in theaters for making sets and costumes and has a wide range of applications as a hobby material.
