Tehnoguma d.o.o. successfully completed the implementation of the project “Energy and Resource Efficient Transition of Tehnoguma d.o.o.” at the beginning of March 2026, in accordance with the Grant Agreement signed with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovation and Investments.
The project is financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
The purpose of the project is to address the key challenge of insufficient competitiveness and technological readiness of the Company for further growth and long-term sustainability in both domestic and international markets, through investments in new tangible assets and the overall development of its production system.
Accordingly, the Company set the objective of contributing to a faster and more effective adaptation of the economy to current and future environmental requirements, through green and digital transition, increased competitiveness and technological readiness, expansion of production capacities, and the introduction of new technologies, machinery, and equipment with significantly improved performance compared to those currently in use.
By expanding its production capacities, the Company will be able to deliver larger quantities of demanded products and, in addition to its existing portfolio, introduce new products.
The project consisted of the following activities:
- Initial investments in tangible assets aimed at energy and resource efficient transition
- Project management
- Promotion and visibility
These activities will enable the achievement of the following results:
R1: Increased capacity and modernization of the existing production system through the procurement of more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly devices, machinery, and equipment
R2: Introduction of a new production line/phase for manufacturing new products made from recycled rubber (rubber plates and mats) using rubber waste from regular production
R3: Procurement and installation of a new heating and cooling system, ensuring energy production from renewable sources
R4: Procurement of additional equipment contributing to green objectives
