Conveyor Rollers
Conveyor rollers are used in belt conveyors, heavy-duty rollers, and other transport and guidance systems. They are characterized by safe operation, low resistance, and long service life. These features are ensured by the installation of double-sealed deep groove ball bearings with 2RS seals.
The bearing housing is formed by deep-drawing technology from cold-rolled steel sheets. The housings are closed on the roller shell and centered on the axis. The roller shaft is made of bright-drawn steel and processed in a standard execution grip (P1-P9).
For better bearing protection, the company Tehnoguma offers an improved roller sealing system with double sealing. The housing is fitted with elements that ensure longer roller service life. The most important components of the sealing system are a labyrinth seal filled with lithium grease and metal and polymer brushes. The primary function of the brushes is to prevent coarse contaminants from mechanically damaging the labyrinth seal.

Basic rollers, as the main rotating element of the conveyor belt, can be assembled individually or in pairs (duo or trio pairs). The construction of the basic roller is the starting point for the production of all other rollers.
To absorb shocks at loading points on the conveyor belt, carrying rollers are placed closer together and lined with soft rubber. This type is called cushioned or shock-absorbing rollers.
Return transport rollers are used to transfer the conveyor belt during its return when the material being conveyed is unloaded.

In order to better protect the bearings, as an upgraded roller sealing system, Tehnoguma offers a solution with double sealing. Elements are installed in the housing that ensure a longer service life of the roller. The most important components of the sealing system are the labyrinth seal filled with lithium grease and the metal and polymer plug. The primary function of the plugs is to prevent coarse impurities from mechanically damaging the labyrinth seal.
Since 2008, Tehnoguma has implemented ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality assurance and environmental management systems. Accordingly, only suitable materials and products of their own production or products from certified suppliers are used in the production of conveyor rollers.
