Applications
Abrasion-resistant conveyor belts are designed for transporting materials such as lime, cement, concrete, coke, clinker, coal, inert materials, minerals, glass shards, salt, sand, and similar materials in medium or heavy pieces. The number of EP plies in the belt depends on the material being transported.
Types
Depending on the protective rubber layer, the belts are divided into:
- DIN 22102 – Y: For transporting medium-abrasive materials and materials with sharp edges in smaller pieces.
- DIN 22102 – X: For transporting abrasive materials and materials with sharp edges in larger pieces.
- DIN 22102 – W: For transporting very abrasive, granular, and bulk materials.
DIN 22104 – E: When an antistatic design is required.
