Adhesives and Bonding Accessories

Helmetin – ADHESIVES FOR JOINING CONVEYOR BELTS – For joining rubber conveyor belts using the cold vulcanization process, we recommend Helmetin adhesive with a hardener. It is used for bonding rubber-to-rubber, rubber-to-fabric, and rubber-to-metal surfaces. Due to its non-toxic nature, it can also be used indoors and in mines. It is characterized by a high bonding capacity (covers an area of about 0.50 kg/m²) and excellent adhesion. Supplied in packages of 0.5 L, 0.8 L, and 1 L.

PLASTIC CEMENT – ADHESIVE FOR JOINING PVC CONVEYOR BELTS – For cold vulcanization bonding of PVC conveyor belts, we offer Plastic Cement (PC in accordance with Loba authorization no. Nv 84.12.41.3.36) and hardener UT–R20 (in accordance with Loba authorization NW 12.22.67.1.25). For cleaning the surfaces to be bonded, we recommend material labeled R4C, which is used for cleaning parts used in manufacturing.

REPAIR ADHESIVE – For quick and efficient filling of cracks, cuts, and damage in rubber layers, we offer CONREPA adhesive, applied to the treated surface with a spatula. Approved by Loba standards for use in poorly ventilated spaces. Supplied in 0.7 kg cans.

Primer

For the preventive coating of metal surfaces, it is recommended to use primers PR 200, PR 300, or PR 400. These provide stronger bonding during adhesion and prevent surface oxidation. On average, 100 g of primer is sufficient for 1 m² of surface. Applied with a brush.

METAL FASTENERS (clamps)

Metal fasteners are joints for quick mechanical splicing of conveyor belts. They are used for both belt joining and repairing transverse or longitudinal belt damage. Along with the fasteners, we can supply all the necessary tools for their installation.

Depending on belt thickness, drum diameter, and required tensile strength, we offer the following conveyor belt fasteners:

Alligator fastener for PVC – System for joining conveyor belts up to 11 mm thick.
Flexco (types 140, 190) – System for joining rubber conveyor belts from 5 to 30 mm thick.
Adler fasteners k-19 – System for joining rubber conveyor belts up to 30 mm thick.
Alligator (RS) – System for joining PVC conveyor belts from 1.5 to 6.4 mm thick.
Flexco (R2 and R5) – System for joining rubber conveyor belts from 6 to 25 mm thick.

Rubber Scrapers for Conveyor Belts

Material deposits on conveyor belts can often cause breakdowns in transport systems. Accumulated material adds extra load to the belt, negatively affects durability and smooth operation, and may cause slicing or cuts to the belt surface. Properly installed scrapers improve transport efficiency.

To prevent these issues, we offer:

Flat Scrapers

VULKOLAN – yellow/white, hardness 80 ShA, density 1.20 kg/dm³

NORMALPUL – black rubber, hardness 70±5 ShA, density 1.30 kg/dm³

SPECIALPUL – black rubber, hardness 65±5 ShA, density 1.20 kg/dm³

TRIS – “sandwich rubber” (black-green-black), hardness 70/45/70 ShA, density 1.25 kg/dm³

Adhesives for Joining Conveyor Belts

For cold vulcanization and bonding of rubber belts, we recommend the two-component adhesive SC 4000 with hardener UT-R20.

Application: Ideal for bonding rubber-to-rubber, rubber-to-fabric, and rubber-to-metal.
Features: Non-toxic and safe for use in enclosed spaces and mines. Provides excellent adhesion and high bonding capacity (0.50 kg/m²).
Packaging: Available in 0.7 L containers.

Metal Fasteners (Joints)

For quick and mechanical joining of conveyor belts or damage repair, we offer various types of metal fasteners:

Flexco Bolt Solid Plate:
- Types: 140 E, 190 E, 1-1/2E, 2E.
- Application: For rubber thicknesses from 5 to 26 mm.
Flexco Rivet Hinged Belt:
- Types: R2-48/1200 and R5-48/1200.
- Application: For belts with thicknesses from 6 to 16 mm. Note: A special installation tool is required.
- Steel wire joint system for quick joining of belts up to 30 mm thick.
- Note: A specialized tool is required to install this type of fastener.

In addition to metal fasteners, we can also supply the appropriate installation tools, enabling quick and efficient setup.

Rubber Coating for Conveyor Drums:

Our offering includes rubberizing of conveyor drums, ensuring greater longevity and efficiency of the system.

Patterned (diamond) rubber:
- Ideal for drum coating on conveyors.
- Thicknesses: 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm.
- Profile: Diamond pattern on the surface for better grip.
Smooth rubber:
- Suitable for less demanding conveyors and vibrating hoppers.

Conveyor Belt Scrapers:

Material residue accumulated on conveyor belts can cause failures and reduce transport efficiency. Our range of belt scrapers helps remove these residues, increasing transport capacity and reducing belt wear.

- Application: For tougher operating conditions.
VULKOLAN:
